'Amaranth' English longbow
Several stages in making up the staves and slow, careful tillering ensure these bows are a combination of speed & shootability.
3 or 4 laminate longbow to British Long-Bow Society specification. 'D' cross section.
Lengths 66-76inch according to drawlength.
Profile at draw: compass or stiffened in handle according to use/preference.

Core: Purpleheart, American Black Walnut, Greenheart etc (please ask)
Back: Bamboo, Hickory or maple

Nocks & arrowplate: black horn
String: Dacron
Grip: wrapped leather: black or brown
Bows supplied with stringer -nocks are provided with stringing groove. (Essential for safe stringing of your bow).

Self yew longbows
Occasionally yew of good quality turns up, and these become available once it has seasoned, however demand is great for these, so it is a question of timing!
